Tunçeri has been in more battles than any other Turkish point guard. He is big and strong with his quick feet making him one of the best on ball defenders in Europe. The Turkish defensive stance starts with him. He is also an adept passer and prolific at running the pick and roll. His main drawback is his lack of scoring touch. He was once an unstoppable scorer but has lost confidence in his shot in the last six years and shoots quite erratically even when he is wide open. Still he is one of the most reliable players available and his last two seasons spent with Beşiktaş and Real Madrid have helped him to gain confidence.
