Career: Turow Zgorzelec (Poland-Div. 2, 1996-98), Alba Chorzow (Poland-Div. 2, 1998-2003), Polonia Warszawa (Poland-Div. 1, 2003-06), Turow Zgorzelec (Poland-Div. 1, 2006-07)
Roszyk is not a very good athlete by European standards but his heart, tremendous energy and diligence have earned him a place in the starting lineup of Urlep’s team. He played excellently, especially on defense, in the qualification round for EuroBasket 2007, seeing action in all six games. The 29-year-old is a very good shooter from outside and runs the floor well. He is a quick and a hard-nosed defensive player though his statistics tend to be unimpressive. Roszyk is a very wise player and an excellent rebounder for his position. |
