PLAYER PROFILE

Career: SMS PZKosz Warka (Poland-Div. 2, 1998-2002), JDA Dijon (France-Pro A, 2002-05), JSF Nanterre (France-Pro B, 2005-06), ASCO Sląsk Wroclaw (Poland-Div. 1, 2006-07)

Stefanski is yet another player from the basketball school of the Polish Basketball Federation – SMS. He played four years in France, but his first years in Dijon were very difficult for him as there was a lot of procedural fighting between the Polish Federation and the club.  Last season in Slask he had a very good year and was one of the first five players in Andrej Urlep's team. He is a powerful guy, with strong legs, and most of all he is a great defensive player who can stop any shooter in the Polish league. He can handle taller players thanks to his strength and always plays with heart and gives 120 percent to his team. Stefanski did not play in the EuroBasket 2007 Qualification Round because of injuries.
