French champions Strasbourg have secured the services of France international Sacha Giffa for the next two seasons.

The 28-year-old forward, who has been called in national coach Claude Bergeaud's 16-man group ahead of their preparation for EuroBasket 2005, had a spell at Levallois before joining ASVEL between 2000 and 2002.

Last year he played with Greek side Ionikos Athens and Spanish outfit Lugo before moving to Pau-Orthez for the Pro A play-offs.

Meanwhile fellow forward Jeff Greer has extended his contract by one year and is now tied to the Alsatian side until June 2007.
