Damir Mrsic picks up top individual honours in the FIBA Europe League this week thanks to his fantastic performance for Fenerbahce against fellow Group A high flyers BC Kyiv.
Mrsic, who turned 34 in October, has made a reputation for himself as one of Europe's top scoring guards. That talent was clearly evident in his 36-point outburst against Kyiv in this week's FIBA Europe League.
Fenerbahce have been one of the top side's in the competition this season and Mrsic has been a big reason for their success. The 188 cm Bosnia & Herzegovina national team player has led the team in scoring (20.6 ppg) and assists (4 apg) while shooting a very respectable 48% from the field.
Against Kyiv Mrsic was at his long range shooting best, nailing 7/12 three-pointers, including three long range bombs in the final 2 minutes which helped his side overcome a 5-point deficit.
