Career: Brotnjo Citluk (Bosnia-First Division, 1996-2001); Cibona Zagreb (Croatia-First Division, 2001-04); Panellinios Athens (Greece-ESAK, 2004-05); Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck (Germany-Bundesliga, 2005-…)
A sweet-shooting versatile small forward. Barisa Krasic has seen quite some action in his near-ten year career: after having learned the game in the Bosnian league (Brotnjo Citluk), it was time for Krasic to move on. Like many of his compatriots of Croatian descent, he aimed for Zagreb and the local powerhouse Cibona. Tougher competitions - he played the regional Goodyear League, the Euroleague and the Ozujsko national league - allowed Barisa to develop his skills and establish himself as a solid European-level small forward. Skills wise, he has it all - shooting, rebounding and solid ball handling; the only thing he has lacked so far is playing time. If given the starting role, Barisa could become a legitimate scoring threat from the wing, which he proved with occasional high scoring and sweet-shooting nights with Cibona. Panellinos saw this potential and signed him last year, but his last season was plagued with injury. He found a home for next season in Germany with the Artland Dragons. Could provide vital quick points off the bench for Bosnia. Averaged 9.5 points and 2.6 rebounds with Panellinos last season in ESAKE.
