Bosnia-Herzegovina coach Mensur Bajramovic has revealed he will step down from his post if he is asked to following a disappointing EuroBasket campaign.

Bajramovic's team was knocked out of the competition in the preliminary round having finished at the bottom of Group C after defeats to France, Greece and Slovenia.

Greece defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina 67-50 for their second win in three games to qualify for the elimination round as the second placed team from Group C.

Greece will take on Israel on Tuesday with the winners advancing to the quarter-final round, while Group C's third placed team France must travel to Novi Sad to face Serbia & Montenegro.

Greece are bracing themselves for an uncomfortable 40 minutes against Bosnia-Herzegovina in final EuroBasket Group C game.

The Greeks played like champions on Friday night in a resounding triumphover France, but were then brushed aside by Slovenia 24 hours later, meaning there is still work to do if they are to survive the group. Should France upset Slovenia with a margin of victory between 11 to 16
points, then Greece can clinch the group and a palce in the quarter-finals if they defeat Bosnia-Herzegovina.

TEAM PROFILE


Bosnia-Herzegovina is the only nation to emerge from the former Yugoslavia which has failed to capitalize on the former country's basketball heritage. Due to the war legacy, many of its nationals are living in other countries and have chosen to pursue their national team careers outside of Bosnia-Herzegovina. For that reason, the Bosnian team is again crippled, but not without ambitions at this EuroBasket.
