Career: CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria-Pro A, 1997-2002), Levski Sofia (Bulgaria-Pro A, 2002-04), CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria-Pro A, 2004-…).
Bulgaria’s top point guard. He played a crucial role during the qualifying campaign, finishing fourth on the team in scoring (11.2 ppg). Regarded as the quickest player in the Bulgarian league, Yordan Bozov is more a scorer than a pure shooter. Unfortunately, he suffered a severe injury on his left knee in December (torn ACL) and played just eleven games overall last season with CSKA Sofia. Six in the domestic league (16.5 ppg.), and five in the FIBA Europe League (17.6 ppg.). He underwent surgery and started practice again last June with the national team. Other than two seasons with Levski (20.0 ppg. in 2004 in the domestic competition), he has played his entire career with CSKA Sofia.
