Career: Fortitudo Bologna (Italy-Lega, 2000-07)
Mancinelli got his start with the Azzurri at EuroBasket 2005 and was part of the team during the last World Championship. He understands the rules and knows that Recalcati considers him more as a tactical weapon at the power forward spot. But in the second part of the domestic season, Mancinelli showed great improvement on his outside game. He can do everything on the court, facing the basket or in the low post and he has a soft touch. Last summer, he was 6-for-6 from the floor against the USA, scoring 12 points in 16 minutes. |
