Career: Broceni Riga (Latvia-LBL, 1998-2000), BK LMT Riga (Latvia-LBL, 2000-01), Skonto Riga (Latvia-LBL, 2001-03), Anwil Wloclavek (Poland-PLK, 2003-04), BK Ventspils (Latvia-LBL, 2004-06), Lietuvos rytas Vilnius (Lithuania-Baltic & LKL).
As a junior, Blums was a substitute for Kristaps Valters but has showed since then that he deserves more than a back-up role. After a year at Wloclawek under famous coach Andrej Urlep, Blums showed an improved ability in the half-court offense. He surprised everybody with his good performance and statistics during the ULEB Cup 2005 playoffs against BK Ventspils. His quickness and athleticism are great weapons as he can get into the lane and finish the play or dish the ball out to open teammates. Last season, Blums made a step forward in his club career and became a member of ULEB Cup finalist team Lietuvos Rytas.
