At 25 years of age, Misan Nikagbatse enters the second stage of his career. After being called the “next one” and finishing as the top-scorer at the highly regarded Albert Schweitzer Tournament (27.8 ppg), this son of a Nigerian father and Finnish mother felt he would be drafted by an NBA club. It didn’t happen but now in his second year for Premiata Montegranaro (Italy) it seems that the freaky combo guard finally found his destination. Nikagbatse didn’t play at the World Championships but is eager to represent his country again. As a more than solid defender, he used to turn over the ball too often but since making the move to the shooting guard, his turnover ratio (1.5 per game for Montegranaro) has improved.
