Arslan is a rare breed of player that uses his quickness to both his offensive and defensive advantage. He is deadly on the drive but he is also a reliable outside shooting threat, which keeps the defense honest. The Istanbul native struggled at Efes Pilsen where he needed more freedom and frequently tried to do too much in the time he got on the floor. Since then he has played with Union Olimpija, Tau Ceramica and Panionios which has given him more confidence, allowed him to display his skills in any system and also taught him to take his time. He is more mature both as a player and as a floor leader, though his main weakness remains his lack of size.
