PLAYER PROFILE

Dimosthenis Ntikoudis

Career: Larissa (Greece-A2, 1994-98), AEK (Greece-ESAKE, 1998-2003), Valencia (Spain-ACB, 2003-04), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2004-05), Valencia (Spain-ACB, 2005-06), Panathinaikos (Greece-ESAKE, 2006-07)

Mr.President, don’t worry, Dimos didn’t decide to stop playing and become the President of Greece but he has the leadership for such a job inside of him. This powerful personality has, for about a year now, been the President of the Greek Players Association, the guy who everybody trusts to protect players’ rights. Ntikoudis' career began in his hometown of Larissa like many other National Team players (Spanoulis, Kommatos etc) but he exploded upon arrival to AEK. In 2003, together with Chatzis, Zisis and Kakiouzis, he led AEK to a Greek Championship.  He then left for two years to play in Russia and Italy but returned to Greece this season at Panathinaikos.
