Ukrainian side BC Kyiv have poached Afik Nissim from EuroCup rivals Lokomotiv Rostov.
The Israeli national team guard played an instrumental part in Rostov's run to the EuroCup quarter-final play-offs, averaging 10.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the Russian club in 12 games.
Kyiv and Rostov were paired in the same group in Round I of the competition. Both sides finished with 5-1 records and lost to each other on the road.
Nissim was particularly impressive in the game in Kyiv and although Rostov lost, he finished the contest with 14 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds.
That performance may have been enough to convince Kyiv head coach Renato Pasquali that Nissim could help his side as a potential replacement for Dragan Lukovski. The Serb & Montenegrin guard has proved to be a dissapointment for the Ukrainians.
"Nissim plays in positions 2 and 1. He is a good 3-point shooter, aggressive defender and team player," said Pasquali.
"He will have to play both positions because we are playing without (Andrii) Lebediev and Lukoski is often injured."
