Russia ace Andrei Kirilenko, who helped lead the Utah Jazz to a 3-0 record, was named the Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

Kirilenko averaged 25.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, 2.7 assists and 1.67 steals per game.

The 23-year-old forward started things off on Tuesday with 27 points, 10 assists and four blocks in a 99-86 road victory over Seattle.

He had 22 points, eight rebounds, three blocks, two assists in a 93-92 overtime win over the SuperSonics on Wednesday.

Kirilenko collected 24 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in a 102-97 triumph over the Sacramento Kings on Friday.

Kirilenko made his debut for Russian side Spartak St Petersburg at just 15-years-old before representing Russia at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.

He then made the move to the NBA where he finished his first season as the leading rookie in nine of the 10 categories.
