His name means “boulder” in Turkish and he fully deserves that label as he is rock solid in the paint. He is tough, a great rebounder and five years at Efes Pilsen has made him a defensive force. His year at Tau Ceramica should have done wonders to his weakness, which is offense, but he is still limited in his scoring ability. His back to the basket game is elementary but he is fearsome when he gets the ball on the move. He cannot create for himself but he sure knows how to finish. Peker never backs down to any challenge, which is why he epitomizes everything his team wants to represent.
