Ulker Istanbul sit alone at the top in Turkey with 11 victories in 12 games after beating Tuborg Pilsener on Saturday.

Serkan Erdogan, one of the team's biggest stars this season, had 27 points to fire Ulker to victory.

Turkish champions Efes Pilsen are expected to rejoin Ulker at the summit on Sunday when they travel to Galatasaray. Efes go into the game with a 10-1 record while Gala are 3-8.

In other games on Saturday, Pinar Karsiyaka lost a nailbiter at home to Darussafaka 68-66.

Tekelspor also suffered a narrow defeat at home to Turk Telekom, falling 86-83.

Other than Ulker winning in their own arena, it was a round of games dominated by the away teams.

Besiktas prevailed on the road on Saturday, winning 90-79 at Banvit, and on Friday Fenerbahce triumphed 76-64 at Buyuk Kolej.
