Aged 26, Stanislav Balashov has plenty of experience and has been one of the most consistent players for Ukraine during the last European competitions… Born in Odessa, he won two Superleague titles with his hometown team… After leaving the club, he reached the finals of the championship three times with Kyiv, always coming up on the losing side. He played a major role with Kyiv averaging 9.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game in the FIBA Europe League during his last season with the club of the capital… This year he played for Politekhnik Kharkov, one of the worst teams in the Superleague… Stanislav Balashov is an athletic big guy who will crash the boards and intimidate on defense while also being able to hit the 4-5 meter jump-shot.
