Career: Lichterfelde Berlin (Germany – Div. 2, 1994-95), Alba Berlin (Germany – Bundesliga, 1995-99), Iraklis Thessaloniki (Greece – ESAK, 1999-00), Alba Berlin (Germany – Bundesliga, 2000-04), Rhein Energie Köln (Germany – Bundesliga, 2004-05).

Son of Svetislav Pesic, the coach who has won EuroBasket with two different countries: Yugoslavia in 2001 and Germany in 1993. Marco played for the youth teams of Bosna Sarajevo and then followed his father to Germany, where he started his career. In 1996, he was invited to the Nike Hoop Summit. Marco is an emotional but also now a very experienced player. He played at the top-European level with Berlin for 4 years. He has a lot of savvy and quick hands. He’s a very reliable three-point shooter. Pesic is quick and likes to run the fast break. He can play both the two and the three-position and he has been a major piece of the German success over the last years, especially in 2001 and 2002.
