Bosnia & Herzegovina: Krasic Left Out Of Final Squad

14.09.2005

Bosnia-Herzegovina coach Mensur Bajramovic has cut Barisa Krasic from his final 12-man squad for the EuroBasket.

Krasic has been troubled by injury in recent weeks and Bajramovic is not willing to take a risk on the player.

He said: "He may not have a serious injury but our doctor suggested we leave him out of the European Championship."

As for his team's chances in Serbia & Montenegro, Bajramovic added: "We are an outsider in our group.

"We have Slovenia, France and Greece, who are all contenders for a medal. So to win one of those games would be a surprise.

"We will fight to win one game and I hope we can surprise a few people and advance to the second phase."

The Bosnia-Herzegovina squad is: Damir Mrsic, Sasa Vasiljevic, Vedran Princ, Mujo Tuljkovic, Henri Domerkant, Jasmin Hukic, Sinisa Kovacevic, Mirza Teletovic, Kenan Bajramovic, Samir Leric, Elvir Ovcina, Aleksandar Radojevic.
